I can imagine that. It's what they do.... until their own rights are threatened. Then they cry like babies.

If that were true, he'd never get elected.

And you're proud to go around insisting that anybody who might disagree with you on a certain set of issues is basically a manevolent trogdolyte hell-bent on destroying humanity and grinding the weak under their heel.

Thanks for demontrating why I just try to steer clear of politics and political labels alltogether.

And seem to have been brainwashed into thinking they are the super rich even if they earn less the 20 thou. a year.

Conservative politicians only care about themselves, not the United States, not any other living beings, but themselves.

The low IQ comes into it, when the voting public vote for those Sociopathic wealthy conservative (republican) politicians who don't give a crap about them. Usually because they harbour some irrational hatred for the Democrats or "liberals".

I just had a nice visit with one of the most prominent conservative Republicans in my very conservative Republican state.

He expressed opinons very strongly in favor of pro-choice and same-sex marriage.

I think it's quite possible you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Um, I won't presume to speak for mainecaptain, but a post that begins with the words, "Political conservatives", I would presume to be referring to the Republican party and almost all of its attendant polcy platforms which are observably anti-choice and anti-same-sex marriage, to use but your two examples, nevermind any 'concern' they may have for the poor, women in general and the born, or immigrants and gay people in general (not just the ones who wish to have their legal marriages recognized by government - they have many other issues too). I'd bet $10,000.00 that "Political conservatives" (aka GO(t)Pers) and their policies don't give a rat's patootie about any of those.

Do_Unto, yup Republicans, particularly those who are actively working against humanity, human rights, women, (whether they are women themselves or not). by the way I like this (aka GO(t)Pers). Very good.

Again, you're both pummeling away at straw men, and boogymen of your own making. You don't have to agree with conservative/GOP politics. I certainly do not.

But to say they are "actively working against humanity" is ridiculous.

Sheesh, try sitting down and talking to people differnt from you once in a while. You might be amazed at what you will learn.

More than likely the Republicon was just telling you what you want to hear. Look at his voting record, not his mouth.

LMAO!!!

A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side. Aristotle
