I find it oddly disturbing that being the first black president of the united states isn't considered an enormous lifetime achievement in and of itself.

As for peace....I don't know about you...but I watched the entire WORLD cry tears of joy, and dance and light of fireworks....and sing and hold each other!!!  The day that man was elected was a day of world wide celebration BECAUSE his vision of peace was SO profound!  He has worked every day since his election with a vigor unprecedented in previous presidencies toward meeting his goals...

Thank you world for giving Obama the Nobel Peace Prize.  He deserves it this time...and will likely deserve it again!!!

Yeah there is a preponderance of narcissism that dwells in the skin that brings different races together, and it has double edged sword. Like instead of looking for the deed of peace and withdrawal of imperial forces we have the blending of the skin..

The touted deeds to get him into office  - the 10 billion dollar a month war support is now in his court.. and he will lose his constituency if he doesn't fulfill his promises to really defend the troops by bringing them home and putting the real crooks behind bars. Crime in america is worse here than the war in Iraq.

The streets of D.C. are still worse than the streets of Iraq. The glim and glamour of Barak Obama has to come to an end followed by some return to basic princples of justice for all.

If you are wealthy, then you would probably say he deserves it. All he has done is increase the gap between the upper class and what ever is left of the middle class. WHich is more important, preventing texting while you drive, or limiting the bonuses of bailed out corporations? He just isn't getting it. Yes, this is the land of opportunity. But what's wrong with making the rich give a little back from their good fortune?
