But who will keep you away from them?  Are non-theists more acceptable to an orthodox Christian?

Uggh... ate one of those once... I was very young... didn't realize you weren't suppose to actually CHEW the thing.... blech...... have never been too fond of tequila since....

Oh dear.  Vodka won't work--for me anyway.  I don't like it.  Frown

And, yes, non-theists are more acceptable to an orthodox Christian.  But that might be a thread in and of itself.  Tongue outSmile

And I think that (god, what is his name?) film gave everyone the idea you were supposed to chew it.  With a snarl on your face, too, LOL!

ETA:  Clint Eastwood!  That's it...

Yes, tequila, please.  Make it a double.

IDK, that "multi-quote" hasn't worked for me yet but oh well.

Yet as for the "Good Stuff" --- That's hiding over as the Ad-Hom Saloon on the USN/P Board.
But Shhhhhh,  don't tell Drawout we told you this, he guards his stuff very, very well.

Perhaps one of us hosts over yonder can sneek a bottle or two over here.

*tip-toe -- tip-toe -- tip-toe over to the Ad-Hom*

Wine is my drink of choice, too.  Smile

And, yes, it's typical of doctrinally orthodox/doctrinally conservative Christians.  Maybe I'll think up a thread.

Finally, I appreciate humor and very much so.  Smile

Amen to what Adelphi said. A non believer can still be saved but someone who has had their head messed up by bad doctrines is usually beyond help. It takes a miracle for someone to believe. Thats totally different from being isolated and brainwashed into thinking its a rational decision.

Drawout.... both you and Adelphe echo something I heard from one of the more...um... conservative ME Muslims I've ever had the pleasure? of talking with. An atheist and a conservative ME Muslim male have very.....very.....very..... little in common..... but he did say that to Muslims (not sure how typical this is), atheists are slightly less disgusting, faithless, immoral, scummy dirtbags than polytheists. Not much..... but SLIGHTLY.

I never had you pegged for extremely orthodox in your protestent lutheran beliefs..... your politics are so UN-orthodox, I suppose I made the assumption your religious beliefs were liberal.... I mean, your sense of humor alone are very liberal! As you yourself have noted, very few conservatives have a sense of humor.

Checking out for the weekend, have a great weekend all!
