I need a bit more time to digest the responses, Jim -- so just the quick correction of an error
that was too obvious to overlook...
Only Russia can re-inact the Cold War and it's original methodology by it's actions.
Typically, it takes two to tango. What currently happens in the Black Sea is a somewhat irritating cannon boat show, with the USA and some allies "re-inacting the Cold War and it's original methodology by their actions". Just in case you paid attention.

Just in case you paid attention.
Yes, i have noticed the alignment of NATO countries and U.S war delivery ships. I think it only wise to receive humanitarian aid with the appropriate means to insure it's delivery. It appears the Asian Security Council rejected Russia's submitted declaration. Obviously, there is a respect by many for 'territorial sovereignity." It appears that Russia is not adhering to international law and agreements.....and, is still exherting the 'power politics' strategy..... Did i understand correctly, Char mentioned that "we should not get involved and it's really none of our business?" The following reasons may apply to Principle: 1. Trust factor in illegal invasion and pre-emptive proxy. 2.. Russian war ships and their soldiers already in the Black Sea occupying 2 of Georgia's ports. 3. The terms of the cease fire agreement breached on several points. 4. Illegal occupation of a sovereign country. 5. Declaring independant states within Georgia's border. 6. Russia's disapproval for humanitarian aid to Georgia. 7. The insecurity of ex-soviet countries boardering the black sea due to Russia's military threats. 8. Russia's warning for the U.S. not send more aid ships. 9. Russia's warning to NATO that it has exhausted it's forces in the area due to international agreements. |
