Dan, a widower and newspaper advice columnist, is the father of three typical daughters.  He falls for a woman he meets in a bookstore and then finds out the woman is his brother's new girlfriend when the whole family gets together.  Of course, there are plenty of awkward interactions between the two as well as between Dan and his daughters.

The humor was mildly funny and the story was predictable.

Steve Carell still does a good job as does the rest of the cast.
