I listened to a clip on radio on Global Warming

When asked what will happen, the young child said "We will all Die"

When asked where she got her information on Climate she said

"Al Gore's movie"

Considering that The British Government is warning that the movie contains 9 lies and more questionable conclusions and should be used with great care,  Al Gore owes that child an apology.

And all environmentalists, especially those with any kind of faith in God,  should educate their chilrdren with facts and confidence and not with silly and speculative movies from political activists.

You mean, not send them to Fundie Sunday school any more?
You have my vote for that!

I consider the lake of fire much more devastating education element than the Gore movie's idea that we need to conserve energy and shift to renewable sources...

It is a universal message to conserve our resources and shift to the most efficient sources.

I omitted "renewable" because I thought of nuclear energy.  Is that renewable??  Or is nuclear power evidence of the overwhelming grace of God.  Energy without limitation if we can deal with our fear.

A Global Warning - shift to unlimited energy resources like nuclear power or you will run out of oil and coal in a thousand years or so.

Nuclear energy comes at a price.

For instance, we have the current idiocy with Iran thanks to the good great nuclear energy. You love that conflict?

Or we have the threat of dirty bombs in our cities, or final annihilation of our species. All as a correlate of "efficient" nuclear energy.

It's a matter of preferences, sure. Some like eternal conflict, threat and danger -- even consider it wholesome for the plebs...
Al Gore owes that child an apology.
No, the child's due a collective apology from the last generation that perhaps could have done something to ensure her survival, but chose instead to bury their head in the sand and believe in the propaganda of the prostitute scientists and pet politicians of the oil and coal conglomerates, because to do otherwise would have cut into their profits, or at the very least required them to re-think some of the daily luxuries they've come to take for granted as some sort of God-given right (and we all know how much thinking makes some people's head hurt).

NJ ....

Yep . Al Gore owes the entire world an apology!!!

The story of CO2 driven global warming is falling apart as we speak!

The SCIENCE community is getting interested in this topic.  Don't know if it is genuine, or if it is just to get a bite of the 5 Billion spent by the feds each year to look at it, but, a LOT of people are starting to get interested.

The Hallmark of it all, is that when the scientific community gets interested, they begin to request data and methods, to reproduce and build upon previous work. The CLIMATE GANG has been  "very reluctant" to let the scientific community in on their little game.  This has resulted in numerous FOI request, law suits, and the very ethics of Journal Editors is being questioned.

Steve McKintyre, who has be accused of "not being a scientist", has a nice suprise for the Hockey Team.  He went out and sampled the VERY TREES they used to make their hocky sticks, for the purpose of updating the archived data (which the climate gang conveniently truncated at 1980 to avoid the obvious divergence problem that is comming to light in the CO2 models).  Preliminary results show that the tree ring series that ALL IPCC temperature trends are based on are false proxies.

The NSA has MANDATED that Strip-bark trees not be used .. .but Mann, Juckes, Briffa, and the rest of the gang keep using them .... putting their hands over their ears yelling "we will not listen, you have no data to support not using them"!! ..... WELLLLLLL .,... NOW THEY DO!!!!!!

McKintyre is doning the way it is supposed to be done.  He is bringing in the TREE EXPERTS!!  Thus it will not be "his" opinion that sinks them, ... it will be people with Doctorates in Dendrosciences who are the leading authors in that field!!  He's also bringing the Statisticians ... not his opinion, but the consensus of the LEADING STATISTICIANS to sign off on what the appropriate statistic is to use on such data.

When he is through .... you'll be able to "stick a fork in it"!!

My hunches are that Theodor Landscheidt's models (See the link in my post) will be the ones verified as the true drivers of climate.  By 2010, it will be a done deal!!  By 2015, the world will be clamouring on how to deal with global cooling.

The only thing .... we need to hold back the political agenda of the pseudo-environmentalist long enough to show the truth!  They know this, and it is why they have stepped up their efforts to get their political agenda passed before the trend shows the expected turn of events predicted!!  Actually, the turn has already occurred.  As Landscheidt predicted, the only thing holding up the temp today are El Nino's ... which are becoming weaker.  We are currently going into a relatively strong La Nina, which will see global temps plumit to 1997 levels, if not below.  If no El Nino comes to the rescue, the temp will continue to plumit, and the myth will be exposed!!

Wrong forum, Bo!

Conspiracy Theories are one further down the list.

"Climate gang" vs. "scientific community" -- sounds like taken right from Michael Crichton.
And "Bush was behind 9-11," righto?

:)

I don't think it is all a conspiracy.  I think the CO2 guys truly believe in their work ... but .. they do it to the point of not welcoming criticism.

They are kinda like a race horse ... you put blinders on them so the horse can't see the horse next to them.  That is the condition of the Climate Scientists .. they don't want to see any cause other than the one they believe.

I think we all agree that CO2 plays a role, but to say it is the driving factor is speculation.

NOW .. the policial aspects of it all is different.   The politically driven do have an agenda.  Whether they are the greens, or the corpracracy, they without doubt have an agenda.

:D

BTW .... nice picture.
