I am a Christian and I have Asperger's syndrome. I am interested in meeting others who have Asperger's, autism or are anywhere on the spectrum, particularly Christians.

Or just plain ole Christians are good too. Smile

I have a blog on here and I write about being a Christian Aspie (in fact, that is the title of my blog) and I would like to read the blogs of others who are as I mentioned above.

If you are a Christian Aspie I would like to know:

  • What faith are you? (I am Pentecostal)
  • Do you attend church? Is it a large church or a small one?
  • How do you handle times when the congregation gets active (prayer, speaking in tongues, etc)?
  • Does the noise, lights, crowd bother you?

I am in a small church, but even still sometimes the noise and distractions get to be too much (especially during prayer and especially during the altar call). I have to close my eyes really tight and I pray really hard, but instead of praying for the things I want to pray on, I am praying, "God please help me keep it together!"

My husband helps me a lot, he "gets" me. I love my church, though and don't want to go anywhere else.

I would just like to hear how others handle it. Smile
