I thought that after listening to the great hymns Saturday and Sunday I would pass on a couple of my favorites that I bring up and listen to when I am feeling king of cranky or simply kind of down. There are more good songs that you will find when you Google those that I list here. I really like Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle) rendition of the impossible dream.

Als please pass on any songs that you like before this goes away.

Elvis:  How great thou art

We are running out of time here but I still want to pass on a few more things that I like and as I was listening to some of my old music, “A Nat King Cole Nature boy, A strange enchanted boy” and one final line  “ The greatest thing you will ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”

I had just remembered how much I enjoy some of my old music and wanted to pass the thought on to some others who are to young to know some of these songs.

Google "Nat King Cole nature boy" to hear it sung.

This song is by no means a religious song but it is breathtaking.  It's being sung by an a cappella group from a southern university.  Greek life has always been important on many southern campuses, even during the '60s when it was on the wane in many parts of the country.

A tragic part of this life is the alcohol, many a college girls morals and reputation have been destroyed under it's influence.  This piece celebrates the destructive yet seductive lifestyle.
