Arlo Guthrie has converted a de-consecrated TEC church somewhere in New England into a meeting center or meditation center. Those big, old, dinosaurs are impossible to heat and prohibitively expensive to maintain, especially with diminishing congregations. Things cost money, including religious institutions. I would object if the churches were turned into gambling casinos, saloons or whorehouses. As things stand, dioceses have limited funds. Walk Your Own DharmaPath; be awake.
