Another scandal has rocked the scandal-rocked RCC.

Seems that the Pope's private butler is accused of leaking highly sensitive and incriminating documents to interested outside entities.  The butler is being held in a Vatican "secure room" (one's imagination waxes dark at the sound of this term).

I'd suggest that the cook who prepared Pope John-Paul 1st.'s final cup of evening cocoa also be investigated.  Wink

Read all about it; it's juicy.

You could get rich by starting a Tabloid called "Poop on the Papacy".

Yeah, but then Bill Donohue would come charging into the situation, screaming and blustering as usual, that the media is "Catholic bashing" by revealing the truth to the public.

Donohue is irrelevant, even to the majority of his fellow Roman Catholics. He screamed and hollered with South Park lampooned Catholicism, just as they do other religions, including Christianity as a whole. They responded by having an Easter episode where Jesus killed Donohue in the end when he tried to take over the papacy.

What amazes me is that people still believe that the RCC instituation is inspired by God in spite of all the scandals, and other horrific behaviors, within the organization. If there was an inspired institution I would expect to see it operated very differently.  Then again, I am also amazed that people believe that the Bible is a supernatural book that predicted historical events (ex: Jesus' virgin birth, the Messiah's death and resurrection on the 3rd day, the Judas betrayal, etc) in spite of the evidence.  When it comes to matters of Faith people can be quite guillible.
