Interesting yet troubling article. Finding God in the personal religious experience is IMO a good place to look, but I believe the 'Vineyard" folks are not thinking that their experience is one of many a person can have with the sacred / divine.  They believe they are getting direct messages from the all knowing and almighty God.  When they say, "God said to me....".  They literally mean it!

No. Those who fight for the rights of others have little in common with those who fight to cultivate and maintain prejudice in their god's name.
