Last year, I got ahold of a tract entitled "What About Mormonism?". It was produced by the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, and was written by a former LCMS president. I did up a rebuttal, which you can see a copy of here.

This morning, I finally got around to firing off an e-mail about it to the LCMS itself, complete with rebuttal.

Their same-day, surprisingly polite response?
