Hello I'm new here and I need some answers. I'm Wicca and my boyfriend of two years is returning to Methodist. He was raised Methodist but when he joined the U.S. Navy he fell out of the religion. I was wondering if its going to go any farther than this (e.g. marriage, kids, house, etc.) if the Methodist church allows it or if I need to convert. I don't want him getting in any trouble with anyone and it's not been a problem between us, but I'm worried that things will change becuase of this. Please let me know. Thank you so very much.

I have been a member of several Methodist Churches over the past 53 years and have never heard of any requirement regarding baptism of children, bringing them to church, raising them in the faith, etc.. (though it is obviously highly encouraged) However, if you choose to have your children baptized in the Methodist Church, first check the nature and wording of the baptism ritual and see if you are comfortable with it.
