For the record, Ashe, as you should know, Catholics don't worship Mary.  There is a difference between venerate and adoration.  Mary is held in high esteem, but never worshipped.

*nods* That's the point I was making.  Mary (the person who started this thread) in her original post was saying how she was having trouble with her faith as a Catholic but than said how she loved that we worshipped women (mary and the saints).  I was pointing out that we don't worhip anyone other than God and God alone and if you are worshipping Mary or the saints than you are not Catholic.

You're right, but I'll clarify for visitors. Marian worship puts a Catholic in rebellion against the Church, on the other hand, it doesn't "un-make" him a Catholic.
