In the less than five hours on the East Coast of the US, Lent will begin for Eastern Rite Catholics.

I would like to pose this question to the forum's pariticipants: do you get tired telling your Roman Catholic friends that you started Lent before Ash Wednesday? Do you tell them that you don't get ashes on your forehead? Or you just go along, saying something like I will get ashes tonight or I got ashes earlier this morning?
