"Confession heals, confession justifies, confession grants pardon of sin. All hope consists in confession. In confession there is a chance for mercy. Believe it firmly. Do not doubt, do not hesitate, never despair of the mercy of God. Hope and have confidence in confession."

Saint Isidore of Seville

"A first essential setting for learning hope is prayer. When no one listens to me any more, God still listens to me. When I can no longer talk to anyone or call upon anyone, I can always talk to God. When there is no longer anyone to help me deal with a need or expectation that goes beyond the human capacity for hope, he can help me. When I have been plunged into complete solitude ... if I pray I am never totally alone."

Pope Benedict XVI

"We vehemently oppose abortion, embryonic stem cell research and euthanasia because they snuff out the gift of life. We recognize that the Gospel and church teaching form a prism that sheds light on all life issues - including the evil of abortion, our care for the elderly and terminally ill, capital punishment, the plight of refugees, human rights, justice and peace and the moral formation of children, just to mention a few."

Bishop Peter Sartain

Sacred Scripture tells us that the Father dwells in "Light inaccessible" ( 1Timothy 6:16) and that "God is spirit" (John 4:24) and St. John adds, "No one at any time has seen God" (John 1:18). Because God is a spirit He can be seen only in spirit; "It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing" (John 6:63). But God the Son is equal to the Father and so He too can be seen only in the same way as the Father and the Holy Spirit. That is why all those were condemmed who saw our Lord Jesus Christ in His humanity but did not see or believe in spirit in His divinity, that He was the true Son of God. In the same way now, all those are damned who see the Sacrament of the Body of Christ wich is consecrated on the altar in the form of bread and wine by the words of our Lord in the hands of the priest, and do not see or believe in spirit and in God that this is really the most holy Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Very strong, convicting and true words from
Saint francis of Assisi.

"Our Lord is hidden in the tabernacle, waiting for us to come and visit Him, and make our requests to Him... In heaven, where we shall be glorious and triumphant, we shall see Him in all His glory. If he had presented Himself, before us in that glory now, we should not have dared to approach Him; but he hides Himself like a person in prison, who might say to us, ' You do not see me, but that is no matter: Ask of me all you wish and I will grant it."

Saint John Vianney

Thoughts on Eucharistic Adoration.

"No one eats that flesh without first adoring it. not only do we not commit a sin by adoring it, but we do sin by not adoring it."

Saint Augustine

" The Bible "

                       Psalm 28:7

   The Lord Is My Strength And My Shield;
My Heart Trusted In Him, And I Am Helped;
Therefore My Heart Greatly Rejoiceth;
And With My Song Will I Praise Him.

My First Name Is Marie, Which Means, " Exalted Of God ".

This Christmas, I got several nice gift from my neighbors.
My favorite ones are:
A 18k Gold Plated Bookmark, with Psalm 23, inscripted on it.
I made it into a necklace and wear it to church ,everyday.
It was from, my good Friend, MARY KING.

Psalms 23:1:

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD;
I SHALL NOT WANT.

Psalms 23: 6:

SURELY GOODNESS AND
MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME,
ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE;
AND I WILL DWELL IN,
THE HOUSE OF THE LORD,
FOREVER.

It seems " GOD " has given me Psalms, this Christmas
to have for some reason,which he knows why, only.
I'm a Breast Cancer Survivor, " PRAISE JESUS ".
It will be eight years on February 01,2009.
That's why I love PSALMS 28:7.

Also, I got a beautiful picture frame with Psalm 23:6 on it,
and a big cross on it, to the left of the picture.
The right of the picture frame is a picture of a house,
with a beautiful flower garden.
My neighbors who live across the street,gave it to me.
Radames and Kathy Santana,Newlyweds,
married three years on February 3,2009.
I went to their wedding,
in a Church in Clearwater,Florida.
And, their reception which they had in
Sunset Mobile Home Park,where we live.

I Love the :
Prayer of St. Frances of Assisi,my Favorite Saint.

Lord, Make Me An Instrument of Thy Peace;
Where There Is Hatred, let Me Sow Love;
Where There Is Injury, Pardon;
Where There Is Doubt, Faith;
Where There Is Despair, Hope;
Where There Is Darkness, Light; and
Where There Is Sadness, Joy.

O,Divine Master,grant That I May So Much Seek
To Be Consoled, As To Console;
To Be Understood, As To Understand;
To Be Loved, As To Love;
For It Is In Giving That We Receive;
It Is In Pardoning That We Are Pardoned; and
It Is In Dying That We Are Born To Eternal Life.

I have this prayer taped in
One of my many Bibles,that I owe,
which is my Gideon Bible,
That I got from a hotel room,
many years,ago. I like this Bible,
because It's a hard covered book.

My latest Bible is, The New American Bible,which,
I received from my first Women's Retreat,
that they had in my church,
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church
7809 46th Way,north
Pinellas Park,florida 33781
727-541-4447

It's great to know " The Word of God ".  I read my Bibles everyday.
