Good morning, all!  I'm enjoying a cup of coffee here while I'm online.  The weather today couldn't be nicer-in the 60s right now, should be making it up to the 70s later on.  I headed to the farmer's market earlier to pick up some farm-fresh produce.

I've been very remiss in congratulating Lee for his usual wonderful job with CR.  Vermont is beautiful.  One question:  Can we get some of that wonderful Vermont maple syrup?

{{{Shel}}}  Welcome back!  Sounds like you had a wonderful tour to Italy.  If you post pictures do post a link so we can see all the places you went.  Congratulaions on your new man-can't wait to hear all about him.

Had my first Liturgy & Worship Commission meeting last night.  It was interesting, and it was good to hear the perspective of our Altar Guild (who do a magnificent job, BTW) and one of our vergers.  I think I'm really going to enjoy serving on this commission.  We're having our Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, and if I continue to do well, I think I'll bring Phoebe (my cat) to the blessing.  Now, if Jane brings her goat it will be very interesting!  We're doing ours in the Nave, and they're going to have post-service treats for the animals & their humans.  One of our assistant priests has been delivering flyers to every vet & pet supply store in Tulsa!  I'm looking forward to Sunday-and my cat adding her voice to the organ and singing!

I continue to make good progress.  The big thing now is stamina-I still tend to get tired easily.  The incision is healing very nicely.  I suppose the thing now is not to push things too much, huh.

Have a great day, everyone!

Heading to Loveland tomorrow morning for our Dio. Convention through Saturday. Metella is singing in her choir for the Opening Eucharist tomorrow evening. We're hoping to meet each other at the convention. I'm looking forward to meeting her.

Austria and Hungary with Berkshire Choral Festival folks, Martha.  In the process of looking at photos.  Published one on the blog so far.  Link below.  No comment on the love interest yet.  We live a bit far apart.  Sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder for someone else.  I doubt we are in each other's future but I never know what God will bring into my life or why.

Yes a Hearty Welcome home to Shel.  And healing prayers for you Martha. Joan is right- don't overdo it- pace yourself as you recover.
Cubs fever here - I am close to Wrigley and the fans started streaming down the street headed to Mecca early this afternoon.
Miracles can happen! :D
Love to ALL Peeps

Posted all the photos I plan to on my blog.  Time to consign the Austria/Hungary experience to memory only and get on with life.  Why must some of it end?  sigh.  sniff.  :(

Wonderful to hear from you again; stick around; don't be a stranger.

Enjoy the Tina Turner concert.  She's one of the finest entertainers.  For 68 she's in great shape for 28.  She's a Buddhist; I wonder if she's a veggie?
