The KJV (or AV) follows the Geneva Bible word for word 75 percent of the time.  The AV is a revised GB.  The great value of the Geneva Bible is the notes placed there by the Reformers.  Both the AV and GB are faithful translations of the original text, both utilizing the Received Text of the Greek New Testament.
