Any pop Christmas song sung by a busty young vixen, wearning a skimpy pseudo-Santa outfit, huffed-out in a breathless "come and pounce on me" voice --- that's a big turn-off for me.

The Twelve Days of Christmas has always been one of my least favorites. We had a teacher Miss Partridge in high school so I always hear/sing, "And Miss Partridge in a pear tree".
Anyhow there is a most unusual version on my blog here. Shel |

Is anyone else sick of hearing "Mary, Did You Know?" It's so frackin' maudlin! It's like the self-righteous shrew of the Christmas Carols: "Hey! Stop all that foderol! Keep Christ in Christmas, damnit!"

"The centrality of our mission is to love each other. That means caring for our neighbors. And it does not mean bickering about fine points of doctrine."- ++KJS
http://kjsfanpage.blogspot.com/ http://chicksinpointyhats.blogspot.com/ "We are to be Christ's hands and feet and heart and mind and we cannot do that if we assume God's role of judgment. The judge's job is filled. God alone is judge! Those who would be Saviors of the Church and the people in it are also reminded that the Savior's job has been filled. Jesus Christ filled it once for all. "- Bishop Rodney Michel |
