How come we don’t have under sacred text a place for Mormon sacred text??? I feel like we got a slap in the face!

It's in the "Other" section.

I know that iron but we had to start one ourselves! Why do we have to be under ‘other’?

I agree, the Bahai have a whole section for their sacred texts, and I believe Mormons have more of them, particularly if you include the JoD, Ensign, and other publications. There really should be a section other than "other" for Mormon texts. And for that matter, why not use Latter Day Saints instead of Mormons everywhere instead of just this board?

I agree with all of you as this is about the only place I will routinely go to. I choose to only visit this space for people of like-minded faith and just don’t have the time to even read other postings. I have visited the charity and giving board but not much else nor do I plan to.
I have noticed that many of the old LDS posters were lost with the change over, and it may just be like me that I enjoy talking to other LDS but not the ego inflated know-it-alls that just like to argue. So basically Bnet you will only get input from me in the LDS set aside forums. Maybe you can get some of the others back here with setting aside more LDS forums. And I know that many of you will remember that I have been the duty curmudgeon in the past but that has only been because I felt someone had to object occasionally to some of the weird posts. I wonder if each of us complain to the powers that be if that would help change things. Jesse F. * If I try to be like him, who will be like me? - Yiddish Proverb |

Be careful what you complain to b'net about. I've tried bringing up things in the past I thought needed to be changed, or pointed out some irregularity/double standard, and my post was deleted within 24 hours. I've had to be very careful since due to the selective censorship which I feel I've seen here. That being said, it would be nice to have our own section under the Sacred Texts heading. It's possible it may not be included because all the scriptures and magazines are available online, as well as many LDS e-texts. Speaking of which, many people may not know about this site where there are links to the complete text of a few LDS books online and several other good reads:

I am wondering if this was either simply an oversight or a dilemma for Beliefnet, in that they have made a determined effort to include the LDS forums in the Christian Folders, and that as such, extra-sacred texts seems to argue against that inclusion. Just a thought. :)
I suspect thought, that ask and you will receive is what will happen.
