A very simple, yet heartfelt prayer Katherine. I must remember to ask a prayer request from you when I am ill!

We just returned from the surgeon's office. Images taken and the biopsy indicate "NO" evidence of Barrett's esophagus at this time other than mild irritation. Wooo Hooo! He said, "Just keep doing what you are doing and come back and see me in five years so we can see how things are progressing." I said,"Glory to Jesus Christ!" and made the sign of the Cross. He said, "I agree!" and shook my hand. Thank you so much for your prayers. Those prayers brought about a miracle! You were a part of that miracle. I can't thank you enough.:)

God bless you my friend. Stay healthy, and as Mr. Spock was known to say "Live long and prosper!"

Not a big thing (like before)...but I would still appreciate your prayers. A few weeks ago I had two teeth temporarily capped. These past two weeks have not been particularly pleasant. I fear the nerve(s) in one or both may be dying which will mean root canal as well as added expenditure (add this one to my recent surgical procedure). Not sure what to ask for in prayer other than: Lord have mercy. Anyway... I'd appreciate it. :)

Lord, have mercy on our friend James, and let his pain be minimal. Amen.

Thank you. Things went quite well. He decided to put the permanent caps on temporarily and see whether or not the teeth would settle down in a few weeks. If not... root canal. If they do, then all is well. So now it's hurry up and wait. Thanks again.:)

Malanga... the crowns were put on Tuesday and no root canal was necessary. Thank you all so very much for your prayers. Now I've a couple of other requests. My wife and I are about to leave on vacation and I ask for your prayers for a safe flight. In addition, my daughter receives the results from her cone biopsy today. She's worried even though I've tried to reassure her. I'd appreciate prayers for Paula. Lastly, been experiencing headaches recently... quite a few, actually. It's likely stress (oh how I need this vacation) but one never knows. Anyway... I'm a FIRM believer in the power of prayer and the more praying the more effective the prayer. So... I solicit your prayers for this sinful man. And thank you so much for this. I'll keep you updated as I receive answers myself. I will not be back online for two weeks. We're leaving the laptop home and taking a vacation away from it as well while the neighbors look after the house.
