Please include my sister-in-law Pat in your prayers. She lives in Escondido, CA (near San Diego) and was evacuated (along with her 3 cats) Monday morning. She and the cats are staying with friends safely away from the fires, and so far the fires haven't taken her house, but she has no idea when she will be allowed back. Please pray for her continued safety.

Update -
Talked to Pat this morning (Thur). Her house, and the houses in her neighborhood, were undamaged by the fires, although everything smells like smoke. She and the cats are back in the house unscathed (except for the black & white cat who needed a bath.) Shalom, Merrill |
