{{{a_dancer}}}  You are important to all of us. You are ok. Take care of yourself. For us if not someone else.

Please pray for my Grandmother. Praise God, she hasn't had any this week but the previous week she had 2 strokes. The doctors couldn't find a physical reason for them, but we think she may be slowly falling into dementia. Pray that her dementia will be a slow process, and that our family will make the best decisions for her and her happiness and longetivity. Thank you!

Also... it would also be nice if a few prayers could be made for the people of Christchurch New Zealand. They had 2 more tremors today of 5.0 and 6.0 magnitudes. This is their third major earthquake since September. Their city is struggling to get back up on their feet and people are very scared and depressed. A few friends we know there are even thinking of moving over here to Australia just to get away. Bless them. I pray their city will rise again and their community will bond more closely as they rebuild together... xxx

I would ask for prayers for my friend Ellyn, and Dave, her husband of nearly 50 years. Dave was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago and has now entered hospice.

Prayers ascending for all that requested...

Please pray for my parish family. My church is yoking with another church because of financial troubles. Apparently this has been in the works for months , unbeknownst to most of the congregation. Last Sunday is when the bombshell was unleashed. We are sharing our rector as well as other resources. Our rector is moving offsite so the rectory can be rented out. Some people are feeling abandoned. There will be changes to the Sunday service too, and that is not sitting well.

I do not know much about the church we are yoking with but I hope it works out. My worst fear is that it doesn't, and the church I was baptized in and have come to love so much will close.Frown

People from other churches would tell me about drama and chaos that would happen in their churches and I would be grateful that I didn't have any of "that drama" in my church. But now that's all changed.

Thanks for "listening".

"We are to be Christ's hands and feet and heart and mind and we cannot do that if we assume God's role of judgment. The judge's job is filled. God alone is judge! Those who would be Saviors of the Church and the people in it are also reminded that the Savior's job has been filled. Jesus Christ filled it once for all. "- Bishop Rodney Michel
