I'm semi new to beliefnet and really didn't come on here in the first place to argue with alot of people, But it seems that when I'm on the debate and dialogue board for catholics I was kinda the lone ranger out there. I posted a couple of things that are still up there and received all different kinds of responses, most didn't get real ugly, but a couple of them did. I seen a thread that someone posted that was basically questioning if padre pio was a fraud, so instead of attacking back I posted a website for padre pio and a couple of other links for blessed sister faustina, father john corapi, apostleship of prayer, and one for relevant radio and I was blasted for that, and had a few people questioning why I put them on there in the first place. I soon found out that there are alot of people from other faiths, and former catholics and catholic haters on there and really not that many catholics at all. but I will still go on there from time to time because I think people need to defend what they believe in. I love GOD over my faith but sometimes it bothers me to see catholicism getting kicked around so much. theres alot of people out there with this notion about us that we feel like we are some kind of superior faith and if your not with us your going to hell. I believe that there are jerks in evry faith, and I just get tired of the misconceptions and at the way catholicism is stereotyped. but I guess thats how the devil gets the upper hand attack the truth early and often. I really hope to meet open minded people from other faiths as well as other catholics, and share thoughts, prayers, spiritual direction ideas, some laughs, etc. so GOD bless you all catholic brothers and sisters, and same to all of the noncatholics, and haters out there. P.S. here are those links that I put on the debate board, maybe they will be more useful being posted here.
