I really like the Salvation Army, although I am no longer a member. I have very favorable memories from when I was a kid. I especially enjoyed the services and every summer my brother and I would go to summer camp.  At Christmas time I’m always sure to make a nice donation when I see them outside the grocery store. I was wondering is there a symbolic reason behind the wearing of the uniform?
