Some of you may have gotten emails through the Bnet system from people you don't know.  They might have been asking for 'friendship' or 'a relationship', and/or expressing a desire to get to know you or donate some money to you. Please do not respond to these emails! Do not give out any personal information to someone you don't know, particularly financial information! Even if the email doesn't request financial information up front, they can and will use what personal information you do give them to access your financial and other information to steal your money or, worse, your identity. 

Please report any emails of this nature to Bnet immediately.  You can click the 'report message' link at the upper right of the page, but please also copy and paste the body of the message into an email to the community box at community@beliefnetstaff.com. Put 'Scam/Phishing' in the subject line.
