Members of the Beliefnet community have recently been subject to unsolicited emails sent through the Beliefnet private messaging system. These emails typically express a desire to get to know you or a wish to donate money to you. Please do not respond to these emails. Never give out personal (including financial) information to anyone you do not know! Ultimately, the senders are seeking your personal contact information and access to your personal finances so that they can relieve you of your wallet and everything in it. They may also be targeting you for identity theft. Please notify Beliefnet immediately upon receipt of any such email. The fastest way to get staff attention about this spam is to copy and paste it into an email message and send it to community@beliefnetstaff.com. Put "Spam/Phishing" in the subject line. The account of the offender will be deleted. The tech staff is working on solutions to the issue. Many thanks, and Beliefnet's apologies for the annoyance this issue is causing,

Starting now, please do not send reports of spam, scammming, or phishing email to the Community Mailbox (community@beliefnetstaff.com). Instead, please use the "Report" button on the email you receive, follow the prompts, and submit your report. Beliefnet has a contractor whose job is to deal with those reports, and to delete spam/scam/phishing email and the accounts of the senders. She works with vigilance and speed
