Churchianity says so- but NOT God-

Ex 3:14- And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto
the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

15-And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God
of Jacob, hath sent
me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
- ASV

So why do the churches pretend otherwise?

Edit: checking for out of bounds post/s

It's the Bible that says that, but the Bible is not always consistent.

It's not a feeling, but a fact. The Bible God goes by many names.

"El" simply meant "deity", "Yahweh" is the same name in Hebrew. The others are Titles.

Any more?

'El' means 'God', and titles and names amounted to the same thing among the ancient Israelites. There were even different religious parties - we'd call them sects today - among the ancient Israelites who believed in almost different gods and, sometimes, goddesses. They even rendered some of the traditional stories quite differently, which is why we often get double, and sometimes, triple tellings in the Bible, many of them differing quite significantly.

The FACT remains that God said what his REAL name IS- altho anything goes with you, since you don't believe the Bible anyways...

That is not a "fact", it is simply a belief. You obviously do not know what constitutes a 'fact'.

And this seems to be exactly where my beliefs differ from yours. My beliefs are held in strict proportion to the evidence, while your's appear to be indifferent to evidence and grounded in wishful-thinking.

It also shows that I respect the Bible for what it actually is - a completely human work. You bring it into disrepute by claiming it to be something it most obviously isn't.
