Yeshua didn't "fit the bill" either, and not one of the prohecies of the Old Testament can be shown to have been fulfilled, while many of them can be shown to have been quite wrong.

Jeremiah's prophecy has nothing to do with the likely fictional Yeshua and, as I wrote previously, is only talking about a reinvigorization of the old covenant with Israel and Judah.
