That would be apologetics, not biblical research. In that light, why even sling the website? It adds nothing to a discussion about the "historical Jesus." It just does the same worn out exegesis of the Hebrew scriptures found in the gospels and in the early Christian literature. Has absolutely nothing to do with historicity. Pretty website, though... Might as well have been one about the historical Superman.

Interpretation is not historically-based. Have you gone to the site? I saw nothing new there, just the same ole apologetics. It isn't critical analysis.

The PROBLEM arises in The CLAIM by ( SOME ) Historical-Critical Scholars that THEY -- and ONLY they -- REALLY understand The Bible ...

SUCH Arrogance -- and, dare I say, Ignorance -- results in DISMISSIVE Comments such as yours ( below ) about "The Historical SuperMan" ...

Then one might ask what you are doing on this thread. I made the point that the website had nothing to do with HJ studies, was an apologetic example of proselytizing. If you are not interested in rebutting that, or in offering any information about the thread, the website, you are just disrupting the forum.
