There is only one verse of the many quoted below considered historical per Jesus Seminar. That would be Luke 4:24 "The truth is, no prophet is welcome on his home turf."

Are there some scholars who consider these historical? Quite a few don't..

The Historical Lord Jesus of Nazareth


fully intended to begin something like "The Church,"


He CERTAINLY began a "Movement"


which was "up-and-running" from the Day He Called "The Twelve" ...

Mickey Mouse is the spiritual founder of the Mickey Mouse Club, so it appears that existence in reality isn't prerequisite to get things moving - just followers.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."


If Jesus doesn't want Christianity then why He want the apostles to be His witness? Is Christianity all about witnessing Christ?
