I have a few good friends, and several acquaintances.  And the range the gamut of belief.  From the nay sayer on ANYTHING out of the ordinary, to the "OMG!  Its on the INTERNEZ!!!11!!/ In a book!!11!! / In the Enquirer!!111 variety.

I wonder why this topic polarizes so many people.  It seems innocuous enough.  It's not like they want to teach it in schools, raise taxes over it, or in some way cause problems.

It's gained some notoriety over the years.  There are several shows on TV nowadays that seem to be, or at least have been relatively popular.

However, in the true interest of science and to perhaps balance out the OVER believers, shouldn't there be a middle ground?  A place where we can stand that says, logically, Bigfoot MIGHT exist, because we have yet to clear every acre of timber?  A place where perhaps ghosts are things of science and energy, but are as yet not understood by those of us who are curious?

Is it just me, or isn't this the way science works?

It bothers me that so many people I know, KNOW what's real and what isn't.  The extremists more so than anyone else...  I've had experiences...  I have a thread floating around in here that chronocled some of them.  I've seen UFOs, and a host of other things.  Here's what I know...

There is no SCIENTIFIC way to describe these experiences to my satisfaction.  I'm not a scientist, I know there are probably things out there, of which I am unaware, that might explain it all...

However, until I see it, I remain...a true skeptic.

What say you?

I don't believe it. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it.

Of course you can be skeptic until you've experienced something, but i tend to respect evidence from credible witnesses. If a airplane pilot says he saw a U.F.O. i consider that evidence.

still haven't found what you're looking for, I see.  And then comes along this scatterbrained creationist, lol.  One who doesn't usually have the time to look up all the answers to back up his opinions.  If I did, we'd all be introuble cause I'd be all over what I say.

What is it you're REALLY looking for?  What question has been eating at you for several months now?  Cause you infrequently check on older posts and then started the one on mutations.  If it's a private nature, then send me a message.  I'll listen!

Prov 23:12 Don't refuse to accept criticism; get all the help you can.

Revelations 3:8  When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly!

The journey has only begun.  Spread your wings with me!  Let's Fly!!!
