For your own peace of mind,  setting up a camcorder and/or digital recorder in your child's room would at the very least capture what is 'happening' that might lead to scratches.  When you have a child, that's the last thing in the world you want to have to worry about.

If there is something else benevolent or menacing that seems to have a recurring pattern (power outages, bumps, at a certain time during the night) most digital voice recorders have a counter that can track and save data files to compare with video from a camcorder.

If the problem continues with no explanation from video or digital, I wouldn't hesitate to contact a LEGITIMATE paranormal group to help eliminate anything that might not be paranormal in nature.
