How do you attract fairies? I've heard that the fae folk like certain plants more than others, and that they don't like cats and bells?

Dah, the best way to attract faeries is to be light of heart and pure of thought. Oh course a bit of honey left out for them in your garden doesn't hurt either!!!! (they do love abit of something sweet!)

Milk and honey work.
Dark Energy. It can be found in the observable Universe. Found in ratios of 75% more than any other substance. Dark Energy. It can be found in religious extremists, in cheerleaders. To come to the conclusion that Dark signifies mean and malevolent would define 75% of the Universe as an evil force. Alternatively, to think that some cheerleaders don't have razors in their snatch is to be foolishly unarmed.

Many know about milk and honey
Now for this thread I was hoping to get things like sunflower, honeysuckle, fernleaf yarrow, summer lilac, red valerian, daisies, cosmos, rosemary, thyme, purple coneflower, pincushion scabiosa, french lavender and heliotrope. That one could plant pansies , snapdragons, blue columbine, foxglove (foxglove, meaning “Folk’s glove” is used for gloves and hats), tulips (tulips are good for clothing and for their babes beds), butterfly, nasturtiums and a long list of other favorites to attract hummingbirds and garden fairies . That fairies love fruit trees such as apple, cherry or pear. That they like to use the blossoms for clothing and for spring festivities. What about water? What about things that should not be there? |

Well I have captured a fae on camera once, when I went outside with my digital camera - at night without a flash on. I asked them to come out and play with me and got a photo of one. Quite amazing actually - its a golden glowing form - and if you blow up the photo you can see wings, feet, arms, face...although its all golden! The point of this was that I took photos all around the yard, beside different flowers, bushes, trees etc. and the one place that they appeared on film was above the pond in the backyard, that is partially shaded by wisteria, and surrounded by hostas, river rock, and a tree (I have no idea what it is other than it has red berriers sometimes lol).
They love to have hiding spots, shady spots, and to me when I think of it - it has to be lush - that is the only word I can really put towards describing what they like. I have heard of the milk and the honey too - but from experience the environment must be suitable as well. Cheery, full of life, a place that has its own magic? |

Hey, green eyed, could you send that picture to my profile, please? I'd love to see it, and i still want to contact a Fairy, but haven't. I'm pure of mind and heart, I guess they just don't come to ghetto places!

If I can figure out how to post a darn picture on here then I could post it here. But in all honesty - unless you can blow it up it just looks like a gold streak. We will figure it out though Im sure - cause our mighty leader Dah is all computer smart! hehehe

Thank you Motherhealer! I loved it there too, unfortunately my family moved away from that house. However I do visit there regularly in meditations.
Something I find really neat is this: My family sold the house close to winter time, and the day before they were moving out I wanted to...say goodbye? I grew up there, but didnt live there at the time of the sale. Well it turned out to be a massive snow storm (not unusual but THAT much snow in THAT amount of time was uncommon) in a matter of hours there was well over a foot of snow covering the backyard. I wasnt able to go there until night when it was dark outside, all shovels were packed already...and I wanted a keepsake of that special area. There were stepping stones leading to that spot so I decided that would be a good keepsake. How to find it though? Buried in snow? And there was a specific one that I loved so much...so I began digging with my hands and on the third attempt of finding it I felt a nudge so I turned and a spot sort of lit up? I dug there and low and behold there was the stepping stone that I had wanted! I always thought it was the fae and the house ghost that lead me to that spot! hehe |
