Once a year, on Halloween, I honor my Germanic ancestors with an Asatru Blot. Also at this time, I will do a Rune reading - sometimes, I'll do an entire spread and sometimes I'll just draw one Rune. This year, I drew Algiz, the rune signifying Protection... The rune stayed in my mind, and so it was I came to notice; Algiz is imprinted on 2 of my 3 dogs' noses! These dogs are my protectors and they are "stamped" with the rune of protection. :)

Do you see Algiz in this dog's nose?

Hi Chiyo!

Yes.  I see the Algiz.  I also see a Fehu, a Reversed Fehu, and an Isa.  Interesting picture.  Thank you for sharing it with us.

Hi Chiyo,

I took a survey of the household pets today and found Algizes on 3 out of 4 of the dogs, and 2 of the 2 cats.  I swear my betta also has an Algiz on his nose as well.

I love this site.  Someday I should like to try this with Runes.
