Okay, I'm a skeptic. Not a non-believer, per se. Just a skeptic. I often prefer to find a logical explanation for everything first. So, I'm not really comfortable with posting here, or even with bringing up the subject at all... Because I'm not yet completely sure that what I've been seeing might not be: "a case of indigestion, a bit of rotten potato", to paraphrase Scrooge. But... For two nights now, I've been seeing orbs and tiny, diminutive "tinker-bell lights" in my room, in the darkest hours of night. My windows are boarded up, because I often sleep during the day (before working night shift) - so, there's no light coming through the windows. And these lights have been seen by someone else in the house, who lives with me, so I'm not hallucinating... (I confess, I screamed like a little girl, the first time I saw them and my spouse came running. )Here's my question. I'm not sensing what the intentions of these visitors are, I'm not receiving any messages. Clearly they are here and I seem to know they are interested -- but I don't know why?... So, how do I find out what their intentions are and the reason for their visitation? Could they be attracted by my new, daily puja-practice? During which I chant for humans, animals, nature spirits, and all beings that are sentient;

These tiny bright lights, did they sparkle or flicker or were they fairly static in appearance?
I'm by no means knowledgable about their nature, so the milk and honey idea is not one in which I'm well versed...but, much has been said about their mischieveous side...perhaps they're just being unpredictable (not acknowledging the milk and honey)? My instinct is that you are definitely welcoming something with the mantra for sentient beings...enjoy the presence! ;)

Chiyo you never tell me anything! You having great stuff like this and not mentioning it, I am so Jealous :D
A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side. Aristotle
