It rained here this morning! It was 40 degrees cooler than we were used to. That was one of the most difficult, trying times we have had to put up with for quite some time. We were literally baking. Adds new meaning to "outta the frying pan and into the fire!" wasn't hard to imagine. Every day I set up my "orgone" type energy, every night the racoons tore it down. I almost held a stakeout during the witching hours to catch the masked bandits and chase them with a broom, but it was too hot to stay outside even during the night.

Hey Praire!

Glad your getting some relief! We're getting hit with triple digits on Tues and Wed which is fairly normal for us during the summer and maybe into the fall.  According to my old classmates where I grew up is now overrun by the bandits which is funny since it's a suburb and an island. None here but we have opposums, coyotes and of course kitty cats. I hear they make quite a racket!

Good your having some rain. We had alittle rain but could use more. It's 5am I'm I'm on watch for the northern lights! It's on my bucket list so maybe I'm one step closer.....lol!
