_{(I know a little ahaed of time but I thought I'd whip up a poem for my churches newsletter I haven't in a while and one of the gals who works on the newsletter queried me on my lack of input as of late)}

 

June. . . 
serenades with the call of the loon  
beneath a festive summer moon
 but whether night time or noon
nature
is God
romancing the human soul
calling us to
spiritual,
emotional communion.
Imagine God
on bended knee
proffering a plee:
"Be free & be with me. . .
why must you lock yourself
in that walled off tower. . . again??!!" 

Beware the false prophets

who invite you up onto the tightrope

promising you the net of forgiveness lies beneath you

ready to catch you!

This means they are still inviting you to

the old system!

of trying to earn your salvation

through your own merits

and borrowing the net

of grace

in case

you don't make it!

The metaphysical implications are darker

than you may realize!

It means: "You are not good enough for God

as you are

here's a rule book

if you can keep to it or at least try. . .

God will take pity on your wretched soul!"

The 100% grace way means:"God loves you as is. . .

as you were created. . .

human!"

Which should make you

happy

and grateful

wanting to emulate

that great loving being

and pass it on

pass on the unconditional  love given to you!

Give the love and acceptance

you have received

Be a joy in the heart of God,

not a sorrow

watching you struggle on the tightrope

with white knuckle grip on the rule book

and no

time

energy

or love for others.
