I keep having these recurring dreams about my autistic son and construction sites! He keeps trying to get to these construction sites. There is noone there, it is just all the equipment (bulldozers etc.) and dug up land. You can just tell he desparately wants to get to it. In one he even climbs this fence that is around it. ??? It wouldn't bother me so much if I only dreamed it once. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi there If this were my dream, it sounds as though there is a feeling that your son has the capacity to 'build' something pretty amazing for himself or in his life but the responsibility and inherant dangers of letting him do this are worrying you. Depending on how old he is, is there a way that you can feel more comfortable whilst allowing him more freedom to be creative in his way in the situations he chooses etc? |

Hey thanks for the reply! I don't know why I didn't think of it that way! It makes a lot of sense with Sebastian. I will see what I can do for him! Thanks again. |
