Truth Is
Truth is financially lucrative And aesthetically appealing; Practically feasible And personally endearing.
Truth is emotionally awkward And paternally caring; Insistently wayward Yet patiently rewarding.
Truth is astonishingly profound Theoretically sound Yet practically workable.
Truth is historically timeless And punctually unfolding; Youthfully spotless And slowly prevailing.
Truth is noticeably blatant, Yet furtively evasive; Compellingly present But voluntarily assertive.
Truth is minutely specific Yet broadly outlined; Shepherdless cryptic But prophetically inspired.
Truth is divine, Truth is transcending; Truth is humane, Indeed, for public viewing.
"All things have I willed for you, and you too, for your own sake."

In reading your poem I had the feeling of "that's true" with each statement that was made. In the end I was left with the feeling that truth could mean many things to many peolple and even different things to the same person at different times. Very effective writing. RR |

A Bough from the line of the Aryan Kings, from the seed of the Prophet of Persia, The stock of Sarah a Hatchling brings, of Jesse and the Tribes of Judea.
One was born without a weeping, exiled amid His family and kin, A Prisoner Whom walls were never keeping, Whose sires were barred to lock Him in.
the Pharisees ascended to their tower, Now wielding their scrolls defiled by dross, now stripped from their reins of power.
the fate of Joseph lay ahead, to Palestine where the Prophets dwelt, to flow His pen on Carmel’s head.
to bring alight the worthiness of man, In His palms will empires flow like pages, and mysteries unfold along His Plan.
the fate of Joseph lay ahead, To Palestine where the Prophets dwelt, to flow His pen on Carmel’s head.
