Anyone who quotes Alan Watts to the extent you do surely can't consider himself a "solitary wayfarer"!





If I could say things as beautifully as he did, I wouldn't be quoting him.


 




 


I feel that way about Arthur Schopenhauer, although I hardly ever quote him. While I don't agree with his pessimism, no philosopher wrote with more clarity.





I would pick Nagarjuna.

Another tidbit about my quoting. It is a habit I have in my philosophical writings that gets carried over to here.
