I believe the prayer for Libya was made prior to the Japan catastrophe. Marshall has made a prayer for Japan which can be read here:
Well, tell him to stop. His prayers seem to be making things worse for Lybia and Japan.

For those who believe in God and in prayer praying for the situations in Libya and Japan are quite appropriate. This should be backed up with material contributions as needed and possible. For those who do not believe in God and prayer may give material assistance.

It would be if done in private like the bible tells you to do. However, in this case it was done in public and done ONLY for the purpose of having people send him money.
For those who do not believe in God and prayer may give material assistance. To those with no god beliefs such prayers are seen as comical.

I'm still waiting to hear or see anything that sounds like it came from God and not merely from an obviously articulate and intelligent man...Summers.
These prayers from Marshall are not coming from God. They are coming from an articulate and intelligent man, a man who happens to be the messenger.
Nor does Marshall claim to receive the voice of God. He claims to receive the voice of the Angels, who are translating into human language God's New Message. So we have two things: the Messenger's Prayers (not from God) and the Revelations (from God, in the voice of the angels). An instance of the angels speaking through Marshall can be found here: www.newmessage.org/theblessing
Thanks for implying that I'm so stupid that I was evidently unaware that the prayers Summers is saying are his own words and not from God. Do try not to belabor the obvious, JB4040. It was quite evident that the prayer was Summers' petition. My reference was to your contention that Summers conveys any sort of "new" message from God.

That is why I suggested that you atheists give money, food and other material items as needed.

One thing I think, and hope, that we all can agree about is that even if someone thinks prayer does not help, it does not hurt. So I think this prayer is just fine, regardless of my own faith, etc. Ken

LOL!
Hmm... I don't know, but I think that Dave might have a point. ;-D Love, -- Claudia
