i'm actually not vegan, but am a recent vegetarian.  my reasoning at this point is that i no longer want to contribute to the cruelty that goes on in slaughterhouses.  i realize that dairy farms are cruel also, and maybe some day i'll convert to veganism, but i'm still new to this.

i have also decided to stop buying leather products.  i really want a new pair of boots, but when i do a google search, the websites that turn up have really limited selections.  i eventually found something on e-bay, and i ordered the boots, but they weren't exactly what i was looking for.  so i'm still looking.  does anyone know of a good catalog or website?

i also tried yahoo answers, but the sites people sent me to were also very limited.
