"Non-meditation" is very simple, probably the simplest and easiest of meditation techniques. The motto is: NO EFFORT, NO TECHNIQUE. In non-meditation, you are not using effort or practicing a technique; hence the term "NON-meditation." It is 100% NATURAL. It can be done sitting down with your eyes closed, or while engaged in activity of any kind. If you think about it, it's how animals meditate.....they just ARE, they're not TRYING, they're not following a technique. It's the simplest and purest of meditations. |

I feel I need to still get my head around understanding the idea of “non-meditation” better. That’s why, when I do sitting practice, I try to pay special attention to my attitude and tune into the spirit of “non-doing”. |
