My wife and I both have difficulty getting around nowadays and we're going to be moving into our dream house soon. We actually started buying a lot of furniture in anticipation and have a ton of stuff that needs to be moved over. Should I hire San Diego furniture movers or find friends and family to help out? Are professionals worth the cost?

Don't know any thing about San Diego movers but I can say from my mom's experiece moving from Northern Calif. to Southern Calif. She did pretty good but they did damage a couple of things. This can happen you have to watch every thing they move, plus I think it is best you pack all of your breakables. They sometimes aren't as carefull as the home owner would be. To much in a rush. If you have enough friends willing to help then go with them, and offer them a really nice dinner out. Plus lunch at your new house. Pizza or ? |

Unfortunately, many of our friends were unable to help. But the San Diego movers we hired were a big help. Thanks. |
