i'm not saying women aren't strong.. what i'm tryingto convey on a "touchy" subject to some is that the attributes and qualities most of us assign to either feminine or masculine.. for instance your honest opinion.. Do you think women or men more symbolize the aspect of "Nurturing"? What about soft / ie gentle in dealing with others.. if u took 100 guys off the street and 100 women at random ie from various socioeconomic classes then had a threatening bossy fellow walk in and start shouting crap.. how many of the guys would wanna run over and bash his head in rather than take soft approach and try reasoning with him? what about the ladies? do you think a larger proportion of the women would act assertively or the opposite.. i'm not valuing one sex above the other what i'm trying to say is that certain attributes or qualities come more naturally to one sex ie women are "in touch" with life principal and "know" nurturing because they can grow life inside them whereas a man can't..
Try to look at this from different perspective 4 a moment.. Do you think most men seem "heartless" ie non caring ie unromantic compared to women? honestly...... that's because men generally use rational logic to figure things out and act in that "cold scientific" manner and we haven't really worked nor been allowed to get in touch with softer side.. I remember hearing from teachers, parents, coaches, drill seargents i don't know how many times "don't cry ie express emotion" so we using one side of brain and develop that part to detriment of other side.. Ask most men who they feel and i bet they can't really identify the feeling but they can tell u it feels good or bad and figure out a plan to get away from it...lol whereas most, not all, women are allowed to voice their feelings and talk things out... ie they develop other side of cerebral cortex... women need to learn from men just as much as men need to learn from women....
if u ever look at symbol of TAO/Dao http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Yin_yang.svg you'll see one half nearly black with small white dot and opposite side is nearly black except for small white dot.. imagine the large portion of a side is the dominant aspect ie thinking /masculine feeling/feminine.. neither is greater than the other but if u put both together in decision making you get further than attacking problem from 1 sided approach.. the small dots are the opposite undeveloped attribute.. hope i didn't offend.. i know this touchy subject.. maybe that is in part problem with society.. most of us don't try to really understand what the other is saying before we ready to go for the throat.. ie shut speaker up...
Now consider this take 5 religions and see where the associate the feminine and masculine principals.. is mother asscociated with sky? or earth? what about male earth or sky? see the earth is mother because from it we are born it nurtures us...also you've heard women are from venus and men from mars.. well earth is between them and that's where in my humble opinion we all need to move towards ie the martians move toward venus and the venusians toward mars.... ie develop opposite side of brain... like i said above it's not our strengths that undo us.. but our weaknesses... It's not easy developing that other side.. the side we developed through life is like a pair of well worn tennis shoes all comfy etc...then we try a new pair on and have to break em in.. the new shoes don't "feel" right.. takes gettin use to....
i've  been married over 20 years and i've learned alot from using alot of my wifes approaches to solving people problems... but she has learned from me as well..
Anyway have a good weekend....hope this cleared up what i was trying to say...above

You don't offend me. I'm not offended by you. I enjoy hearing your thoughts because they are thought out and spoken with clarity in mind. I understand what you're saying.

I understand what you are saying. It's what we've been taught or it's what is in our faces -- the messages from religions or the messages from a book creeping them into society to form certain expressions like telling a man to not show emotions, etc..

I understand what you have been saying and explaining.

I suppose we can't avoid the facts of feminine and masculine and male and female....because....it is what we see. There ARE males and females on the earth. There ARE masculine and feminine ideas created from this because there ARE female and male creatures on the earth.

That's where the differentiation started.

So, suppose the male body just happened to look/appear/act in physicality in a stronger way than a female body? Thus began the idea of what strength was considered.

But inner strength is not a physical body, is it?

But, getting back to the yin and yang thing, there are different ways of handling things -- logically/rationally or irrationally -- one with sensitivities, one with little sensitivities.

Regardless of what we have been taught -- regardless what has been stuck in our faces -- the religious views and the books....

it comes down to the person, in my opinion. It comes down to the inner core which is neither male nor female -- just inner attributes, inner characters.

As for my dream, the "female" voice was in the sky just as much as the "male" voice.

All of me was in the sky.

Attributes, just attributes.

I dreamed I was in the sky.....and I heard a female voice and a male voice. The female voice/presence said to me that I was meeting an ancient Greek god named Kronos and that I was going to be given a spiritual gift from him.....and then he (Kronos) began to speak to me (I slightly saw his face) and told me that whenever I say his name the ability would come to me. When the female voice said "he is an ancient Greek god", all of a sudden I saw time in a circle, and his time went backwards to almost a half circle....meaning far back in time in civilization.  Bronwyn

Sky ie thought in clouds....?? heard female voice ie feminine nature.. female introduces you to male Kronos ie other half... You gonna "invoke" name of Kronos in daily life when things get "tough"? She-feminine voice introduced you to the other half.... of the cosmic "IT" ie other side of the whole coin... ie the 1/2 circle of time.... Two 1/2's make a complete whole.. tails without heads is a nonexistent coin... 1 winged bird doesn't fly... maybe go in circles if it even get off ground.....bird need 2 wings to anywhere..

Meeting with Kronos ATONEMENT with father ie AT ONE MENT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monomyth#A … the_Father u being inititated in dream world to the bigger mystery beyond the EGO self identity.... In mens dreams the situation would be reversed ie meeting with the Goddess.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monomyth#Mother_as_Goddess
