Make me a channel of your peace,

where there is hatred let me bring your love

Where there is injury, your pardon Lord

and where there's doubt through faith in you make me.

Oh, master grant that I may never seek  so much to be

 consoled as to console

to be understood as to understand

to be loved and to love with all my soul

( A prayer of St. Francis)

My cry and Prayer for Sex Trafficking Victims

I woke up restless this morning, which is nothing new for me lately. But to stay on point I was tossing over the issue of human trafficking (more specifically sex trafficking). The horror is despicable, the act is hinnies, and the subject shouldn’t even be something that is in existence.  Who can convey what these women are feeling? Who knows if they have anything left to feel? Isn’t sentiment taken from them as well?

But crying out to God in prayer is the only thing I can do, the only thing I’m left with. I thought I cry out on my blog with the hope that my voice will be multiple by all those who are broken over this same issue. For I know in assemble of many cries, He’s known to respond....

Praying for all that are connected to me

"As believers we know the power of prayer. Those who don’t understand this truth struggle to accept that words can make a difference. To solidify that doubt, they say words can’t break my bones. Mine while in actuality, it can do more damage than that. Because according to the word of God, words are the very thing that brought all existence into being. And if it has that kind of power, what are bones?"

This is my prayer for all that are connected to me

True compassion is not just an emotional response, but a firm commitment founded on reason.

As well as refraining from negative thoughts and emotions, we need to cultivate and reinforce our positive qualities.
