I am sooo excited!  I am the goddess hostess for this coming Sagakak sisterhood gathering this next weekend.  :D


It is our first official gathering, and its purpose is for empowering women, spiritual intimacy, and just lots of female bonding.  No men, no children, and no outside distractions.

I have had my sisters vote and assign a goddess from mythology to each member.  And I plan a lot of surprises, including which goddess was chosen for them.  We will meditate, do a cleansing, tarot readings and do a fun group offering with something hand made Individually to the group.  Movies~Ya YA Sisterhood & Practical Magic etc etc etc.

I wanted to not only share my excitement, but also ask for ideas of things we can do to keep the night eventful.  We are 5 women that are looking to begin our spiritual journey, we are not Pagan or Wiccan & would not fill comfortable practicing something we are not familiar with.  I feel that any of those rituals should not be performed without a lot of education, and well to be real honest~it scares the poo poo out of me.  I also wouldn't want to misrepresent any one else's beliefs.  So I think I need a better understanding before any of us try to go down that path together.

So any ideas are greatly appreciated.  Also please share your experiences with a goddess gathering.  Girls just want to have fun! :p
