I like to set the scene - darkened room, straight backed chair, soft music. Then take a few deep breaths - into the diaphram - to get the centre activated. All meditations have a purpose - setting for communion with spirit means techniques of mediumship awareness.
I set a scene of peace within my forehead, where I remain to gain the peace within. During the meditation I use a symbol to connect with my personal spirit guide. As the energy changes, I know I have contact and can commune with my own questions or something for others. When the mind is active and not allowing the peace - I blow a gentle breeze through the scene to allow the thoughts to happen but to remove them til later to be addressed. God bless, J |

I definitly get into kundalini yoga. I used to do hatha yoga for years, but once I started kundalini nothing else compares. It's very energizing, yet relaxing, and very spiritual.

for me, I do my meditation with out noise pollution, the kids are in bed sleeping and than I enjoy the peace and quiet..I usually lay on my bed in the dark, relax my whole entire body, inhaling white light of love and positive energy and exhale the toxins of that day...I then just let my mind wander and when I'm done, I find I'm much more relaxed to go to sleep and ready to face the next day.

nnn123,
I love your post, and mom 2-4angels that sounds so relaxing I may try that. It is very practical; I can relate to waiting till the house quiets down. LOL. |
