What's the deal?

1. Extremists think that thinking means agreeing with them.
2. There are three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth.
3. God is the original nothingness of the universe.

It's a sad thing for sure...

It's just the forums, I think. But where are we going to continue our debates?

Beliefnet will still be online.  The Community side will become read only at the end of October.

Groups are being set up on Facebook for members who wish to continue with their discussions to gather.  One group will be US and World News.  The links are listed on the notice.

After 16 years there will certainly be a change in my daily routine.  Guess I will be spending more time of Facebook after Halloween.

I want to see a debate board for science and religion and another for origins of life. Please request them to the top brass.

I was on a couple of evolution/creationism boards on Facebook and they were very heavily used.

I don't do facebook, and I'm not going to start now!!  Guess I"ll just say farewell to all the long time freinds and foes here on Bnet.  Hope you all have a prosperous rest of your life, good heatlh, and lots of friends and love.

I'm with you on that.

I've never been Facebook fan myself, nor will I start just because of Bnet.

There's always Reddit, despite it being a visual hellhole.

Well, I already visit Reddit occasionaly, but my favorite place is http://www.politicalforum.com/

They have a lot of great chats, but I like the "Current Events" best.

Besides, there seems to be about a fair amount of Left/Right members there.

I like Political Forum a bunch.

The lack of a Regime in place makes it very user-friendly.
